That's pretty understandable (I suppose that some of us might also come to Denmark this way), but until May we have to stress within 5900 seat stand and it's more than certain that all will be sold out until then

But I am sure it will be two great games both on the pitch and the terrases!

I don't think that club have to get 10% tickets to 'visitor' suppoerters, when stadium is rebuilding.
But I'm hanged if I know UEFA regulations.

Legia wasn`t thinking of perhaps moving the game to a stadium that have more space, so all supporters of both Legia and Brondby could get tickets ? 5900 is very small for a game like that. We have room for almost 30.000

It's like in Utrecht - they behaved quite unfriendly (to say the least) at home and they -as a consequence - didn't have a warm welcome in Warsaw later ;-)

OKay... and sponsors VIP's sit in the middle? So I guess there is a "human barrier" between the Brondby and Legia fans...

No, because Legia will also be on most of A B and C (left hand side of the picture). Remember of course, that I'm still theoretising about the location of Broendby sector. Because the sector in front of VIP sector seems to be small for 250 tickets (80-100 seats are there).

We would ALL love to have as many fans fron DK as possible (the atmosphere would be much better), but the situation with the stadium is the way it is and we can not do ANYTHING about it.

In the domestic league there are no demands for how much space you must get as away team. But in europe it is normal that you get 10 % of the tickets as away team. And as I said you can perhaps get more space than the aprox. 1000.

Hi there, Legiafans, and greetings from Denmark.

I'm looking forward to the two matches against your club, but of course i'm also curious about you. Can someone tell a little about your starting formation, your strenghts and weaknesses your key players and so on.

Brondbys starting formation:

Stephan Andersen
Mikael Nilsson - Mikkel Bischoff - Max v. Schlebrügge - Th. Rasmussen
Mike Jensen - Samuel Holmén - Jon Jönsson - Michael Krohn-Dehli
Alexander Farnerud - Ousman Jallow

Our keyplayers as I see them are:
Our goalie, Stephan Andersen. One of the danish Superliga's strongest keepers and the second choice after Thomas Sørensen on the national team.
Our Captain, Max v. Schlebrügge. Intelligent, hardworking and just excellent. One of the two best centerbacks in the Danish Superliga.
Central Midfielder, Samuel Holmén. A number of clubs in Europe wants to sign this guy. Very talented and has become a part of the Sweden national team.
Attacking Midfielder/Forward, Alexander Farnerud. Came to us from Stuttgart in the summer 2008, and got his breaktrough in the spring 2009 where he scored about 8 or 9 goals, I think. Fine tecnique and a treath to any defense.

Brondbys biggest weakness right now are our new coach, Kent Nielsen. He took over the team in january 2008, and has a more defensive style than our former coaches, Tom Køhlert and Michael Laudrup, which over players have to get used to. Right now we're not playing our best, but it's starting to get better, and hopefully it will before the matches against your club.

Our strenght is that we have a pretty fantastic team, and when we're playing our best not many teams can stop us. Last season we were very close to get our 11th championship, but in the last 3-4 matches it all failed, and we lost it, even though we had positioned us in the 1st place for quite some time in the rest of the season.

I hope you'll give some feedback - and i'm sorry for the lousy english.

mock modesty mate, your english is not bad at all.
basically, our start up formation last year was 4-5-1.

our gollie (Mucha) is one of our most valuable asset. he is the first choice for Slovakian national coach and he's really classy.

defence - Wawrzyniak/Kiełbowicz/Komorowski(left) - Choto - Astiz - Rzeźniczak/Szala
Wawrzyniak is disqualified becouse of some stimulant in his blood
Kiełbowicz - fast, good condition, but not strong phisically
Komorowski - although he is a member of our national team, I don't consider him as a good player. strong, pretty fast, can play header, but weak technique
Choto - really big guy, called "the rock from Zimbabwe". one of the best in our team
Astiz - inteligent sweeper, we bought him 2 years ago form second team of Osasuna. not such phisical player as Choto, but together they are the best central defend in Poland

midfield - Rybus - Iwański - Choto - Giza - Radovic/Ostrowski
forward - Chinyama / Mięciel / Paluchowski

sorry, I'm out of time, hopefully someone will guide you through rest of our team.
peace! ;)

Thanks a lot for the answer.

I've heard something about that two of your key players, Choto and Chinyama, was injuried? Is that true, and if so, what's their status? Do you think they'll be ready for the match next week?

Right now we don't have any major injuries, but we have a very psysical match this weekend against Esbjerg fB, so maybe you'll get lucky and some of our best players will be out - we've allways stroggled a great deal with injuries. Sometimes it's almost bizar how many we get.

As far as I know Chinyama won't play at both matches. Dunno about Choto tbh.
At 08/09 season biggest weakness of Legia were attackers, basicly we had one - Chinyama, and now he is injured. But at end of season and summer break, our striker Paluchowski made big progress, and Szałachowski came back from injury (hopefully he won't get new one before games [he gets injuries a lot]), also we bought our old player Marcin Mięciel, who spent a lot of time in greek league (I concider it as big plus = much of experience).
According to media and our national team coach, but not nessesarily for Legia fans, Roger Guerreiro is strong part of the team, but he burned out few seasons ago.
Well I bet some other Legia fans will disagree with me, but you asked and you have answer ;)

Also sorry for my kinda "hard" english also, didn't use it for some time now.

As said before, we stroggle a lot with injuries too, and one of our best attackers, Morten "Duncan" Rasmussen, have been out for a long time, but are now getting better, and will be in the squad, but not necessarily in the starting lineup, on thursday in Brøndby. He's a great tankforward, and have scored quite a lot of goals for us, but unfortunately also been injuried a lot.

I must say i'm not sad about hearing that such a great striker will be out against us. But I hope for you, that he'll get fit again august 7th.

Besides the team I've been surfing the internet, and YouTube most, and has seen a lot of great clips with you guys and your fans. I must say i'm impressed, and looking forward to see you on Brøndby Stadion. We don't get a lot of resistance from our competitors in the domestic league - and who doesn't love a nice show with flares and stuff?

I must admit that, in ultras piont of view, trip to Brøndby - Legia match probably will be the best away match and trip for us in this half of season.
We can assure you that chants, flares and whole other support related stuff will present beasty. As a matter of fact - we are Poland's Top class.

midfield - Rybus - Iwański - Roger - Giza - Radovic/Ostrowski
forward - Chinyama / Mięciel / Paluchowski

sorry, I'm out of time, hopefully someone will guide you through rest of our team.
peace! ;)

Continuing.

Rybus - fairly fast, still young and good on the ball. Needs to stop smoking if he wants to take it to the next level.

Iwański - I think he is our best midfielder, thats if he is played in his position, that being attacking mid. Our team is lacking a classical Defensive midfielder and our coach has been playing Iwan there. Its not working well for him.

Roger - You never know what to expect from him really, he'll play well for the national team and whenever there are scouts present at game, other times he'll slack off and be the weakest link in our team.

Radovic - Fast with good dribbling, unfortunately he he's only single footed and has a bad habbit for diving. When he's on form he can rip up good defenders.

Chinayam - Everyone hates him for missing golden chances, but he some how comes up with the goods in the most ridiculous circumstances. 19 goals last season, but could of and should of been twice that.

Paluchowski - Still young. Has been impressing all summer.

Mięciel - came back to the team after many years from different spells in Europe. Technically very giften, will do a scissors kick here and there.

Szałachowski - always injured, nick named "Messi", short and fast as lightning. will be a handful for your defenders.

We're looking forward to that. We consider ourself Denmarks top class also, but our competitors aren't challenging us enough on vocals, chants or visuality. Therefore a crazy bunch of polish fans will be great news and maybe we can learn something, who knows.

See you there!

We lost 2-1 in Esbjerg yesterday, and had 3 players injuried. Holmén, Duncan and Bishoff were not in the squad, and it's not sure they'll be ready for thursdays match.

Even though we lost the team played better than for a long time. Our problem is, that we are ineffective in the offense.

I'm nervous about thursday!

It says, that you guys have been given 1500 tickets for the match, but the rumours say, that you'll come many more than that.

That the saying on your forums is: "Let's all go to Copenhagen, even though we don't have any tickets!" and that you think that you'll get in the stadium anyway because you will be so many, that the police will not risk you staying outside during the match.

And something about Legiafans coming all the way from London...

He got it from some polish sites.

See you thursday!

Not quite. People who manage our club, for about 2-3 years want to destroy ultras movement. Before match, they sent to your club demands saying not to sell any tickets to polish citizens, although many of them were in the trip to Kopenhaga... besides - many of our team supporters don't live in Poland - they also couldn't know about information about the tickets (that a) they must be bought in Poland & b) that they couldn't buy them at Brondby stadium).
So, logically thinking - if i wanted to see the match and i were abroad at the moment i should come to Poland for the ticket and than go to Kopenhaga for the match... i think it sounds just ridiculous.

We wanted to buy the tickets at Brondby, but we couldn't.
Also it is worth to say, that tickets at Legia for the match were 50% more expensive.
And another fact, some people, despite of having a ticket, weren't able to get to the stadium becasue of the police.

About the news in at polish sites - the owner of Legia is largest private media corporation in Poland, so i wouldn't belive in all 'information' they write there.
