Regards from Stuttgart, Germany and a veteran supporter of VfB Stuttgart 1893. Been to Poland several times over the last couple of months and always had a great time staying in Warszawa. Needless to say, being a keen follower of the game, I paid visits to Legia as often as possible. Trouble was (so far), Legia never played at home when I was in town. I do hope this will change and I can take in a game once the new season kicks-off.

Question: are there any 'Legia' watering holes (pubs) around town that you'd recommend? Been to most of the British/Irish themed pubs and the Champions SportsBar in the Marriott, but would prefer the more authentic, real and local places.

Best regards from Stuttgart.

... I am not sure how I should interpret your emoticon/smiley here. But I do hope you're not refering to Warszawa's equivalent of the 'Blue Oyster' bar - not my kind of place, honest... :efoch: :bauns:

Oh,of course i'm serious... Sure.

It's a cult place for us.I recommend it especially before or after our match.

I trust you :) Are there any photographs of the place available on the 'net?
I take it ¬ródełko is a traditional bar and meeting-place prior and after the matches. What's it like during the week and on non match-days?

well... on non-match days it's... well... quite ordinary :) There are some pubs like "Blues Bar" on Plac na Rozdrożu square, a few hundred meters (uphill) to the west.

PS the place indicated on the map is rather closer to another pub, "Cafe Return" (just behind Legia tennis courts), ¬ródełko is some 200m to the north.

Thanks, guys. The info is greatly appreciated. Very much prefer getting a beer in any of the more authentic, proper places than in some of those 'theme pubs'.

Can you fill me in on the Legia - Den Hague - Juve relationship?
From what I gather it goes back to the late 80s/early 90s and a meet up in the Netherlands. Right? Is it still going strong between this triade of sets of supporters?

The contacts are very strong currently. With FCDH they are of course longer-dated
